Product Description

For large and heavy workpieces, a conventional machining center can quickly run out of room. A planer type horizontal boring machine is built for this kind of job, giving manufacturers a much larger working range while keeping the workpiece firmly supported during machining. The machine combines horizontal boring, milling, drilling, and tapping capabilities, making it suitable for large components that need several machining operations without constant repositioning.

The JPB130R, JPB160R, JHC130R, and JHC160R models cover different spindle and travel requirements. Spindle diameters are available in 130 mm and 160 mm, with spindle speeds from 10 to 2,000 rpm. Depending on the model, the worktable can carry up to 20,000 or 30,000 kg. With a 360° rotating B-axis and long X-axis travel, this planer type horizontal boring machine offers a practical setup for heavy machinery, energy equipment, large molds, industrial components, and other oversized parts.

Product Features

Heavy-Duty Horizontal Boring Design

The horizontal spindle layout is well suited to large components where deep holes, large bores, side surfaces, and heavy milling cuts are involved. The floor-type structure gives the workpiece a stable base, while the movable worktable provides a wide machining area.

Flexible Multi-Axis Movement

The machine is designed with X, Y, Z, V, W, and B-axis movements. The X-axis travel is available from 3 to 6 m, while the B-axis table rotates through 360°. This makes it easier to reach different areas of a large workpiece and reduces the need for repeated clamping.

Large Spindle and Strong Cutting Performance

The JPB130R and JHC130R use a 130 mm spindle, while the JPB160R and JHC160R are equipped with a 160 mm spindle. All models use an ISO 50 spindle taper and offer a speed range of 10–2,000 rpm. Maximum spindle torque reaches up to 3,740 Nm on the 160 mm models, providing enough cutting power for demanding machining jobs.

Rigid Structure and Durable Materials

The machine uses a heavy-duty cast structural design for the main supporting components. The rigid construction helps maintain stability during high-load machining and reduces the influence of vibration on machining quality. The spindle and boring bar are designed for continuous industrial use, while the guideway system is selected according to the model and application.

For projects involving steel, cast iron, and other common engineering materials, cutting tools and machining parameters can be matched to the material and required finish.

Key Advantages

Handles oversized workpieces:

With X-axis travel up to 6 m and table capacities reaching 30 tons, the machine is designed for components that are too large or heavy for standard CNC machining centers.

01

Less setup work:

The 360° B-axis rotary table allows the workpiece to be positioned from different angles. This can reduce repeated clamping and make multi-side machining more convenient.

02

Strong spindle performance:

The 160 mm spindle models provide up to 3,740 Nm of maximum torque, making them a good fit for heavy boring and milling operations.

03

Flexible machine configuration:

Vertical milling heads, universal milling heads, extended milling heads, flat milling heads, and other tooling options can be selected depending on the machining task.

04

Suitable for different production needs:

The available travel ranges, spindle sizes, table dimensions, and CNC systems give buyers more flexibility when choosing a machine for a specific workshop.
