Product Description

For large workpieces that need serious machining capacity, a planer type boring mill is a practical choice when standard CNC machines are simply not large enough. This type of machine combines a large working area with boring, milling, drilling, and multi-axis positioning, making it suitable for heavy components that need accurate machining from different directions.

The JPB130R, JPB160R, JHC130R, and JHC160R models are designed around 130 mm or 160 mm spindle diameters and offer spindle speeds from 10 to 2,000 rpm. Depending on the model, the worktable can carry up to 20,000 or 30,000 kg. With X, Y, Z, W, V, and B-axis movement, the machine provides plenty of room for large components while keeping machining operations under CNC control.

Product Features

01/

Heavy-Duty Spindle System

The machine is available with 130 mm and 160 mm spindle diameters. Both options use an ISO 50 spindle taper and support a speed range of 10–2,000 rpm. The JPB160R and JHC160R models deliver up to 3,650/3,740 Nm of spindle torque, providing the cutting power needed for demanding boring and milling work.

The boring bar size is 460 × 520 mm, giving the machine a solid foundation for large-hole machining and heavy cutting applications.

02/

Multi-Axis Machining

A major benefit of this planer type boring mill is its flexible axis arrangement. The machine combines X, Y, Z, W, V, and B-axis movement to reach different areas of a large workpiece.

The B-axis provides 360° table rotation, while the X-axis travel can reach 6 m on selected configurations. This helps reduce unnecessary workpiece repositioning and makes it easier to machine several surfaces in one setup.

03/

Rigid Structure and Material Selection

The machine is built for large-scale industrial machining, where rigidity and vibration control are important. Heavy-duty structural components provide stable support for the spindle, worktable, and moving axes during cutting.

For machining materials, the machine can be used for common engineering metals such as carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other industrial materials when suitable cutting tools and parameters are selected. Tool heads and cutting tools can also be matched to different material hardness and machining requirements.

04/

Large Working Area

Worktable options include 1800 × 2200 mm, 2000 × 2000 mm, 2000 × 2500 mm, and 2500 × 2500 mm, depending on the model. Maximum table load reaches 30,000 kg on the JPB160R and JHC160R configurations.

The distance between the worktable surface and spindle centerline can also be configured according to the customer's workpiece requirements, making the machine more adaptable to different component sizes.
