The GMF43 gantry cnc machine series features a table 3 meters wide and 12 meters long, capable of supporting loads up to 40 tons. Previously, customers manufacturing ultra-long machine tool beds or heavy construction machinery chassis had to rely on segmented machining or purchase exorbitantly expensive imported equipment. This machine offers a more practical solution. Its standout feature is the use of a Module 6 dual rack-and-pinion drive for the X-axis (long-travel direction); while ball screws tend to sag over such long distances, the rack-and-pinion system offers superior rigidity and ensures smooth movement across the 12-meter stroke, maintaining precision within the 0.03mm range.

Long-stroke rack-and-pinion drive:

For the 10-meter and 12-meter table lengths, the X-axis replaces ball screws with a heavy-duty rack-and-pinion transmission. This configuration offers exceptional heavy-load capacity over long strokes and significantly lower maintenance costs compared to ultra-long ball screws.

Optional Coolant Through Spindle (CTS):

If your application involves deep-hole drilling or machining hard-to-cut, high-hardness materials, we offer an optional CTS feature. High-pressure coolant is delivered directly through the spindle to the tool tip, ensuring rapid chip evacuation and significantly extending tool life.

Five-sided machining:

Hoisting and positioning a 40-ton workpiece is a major undertaking. We offer a range of automatic and manual right-angle heads and universal heads. A single setup allows for the machining of five out of the workpiece's six faces, saving a substantial amount of time on positioning and alignment.
