JMB110 Series is a large horizontal boring mill machine family built around a 110 mm spindle diameter, with two configurations: JMB110AH and JMB110B. Both models provide 1800 mm X-axis travel, 1600 mm Y-axis travel and 1400 mm Z-axis travel, while their spindle and table configurations differ according to the selected version.
The series is designed for machining large castings, machine bases, housings and other components that require horizontal boring, milling and multi-directional machining.

Product Description

The JMB110 Series uses a horizontal spindle arrangement and provides a 110 mm spindle diameter across both JMB110AH and JMB110B versions. The JMB110AH is configured with an ISO 50 spindle, 10–1500 rpm spindle speed, 15 kW spindle motor and 1520 N·m maximum spindle torque. Its table configuration supports a maximum workpiece load of 5,000 kg.

The JMB110B large horizontal boring mill machine retains the 110 mm spindle diameter but uses a different spindle-end configuration. The specification lists a 221.44 mm spindle-end diameter, together with a 10–2000 rpm spindle speed range and a 15 kW spindle motor. Its maximum spindle torque is also 1520 N·m, while the rotary/facing configuration is different from the AH version.

For both versions, the main linear travels are 1800 mm on X, 1600 mm on Y and 1400 mm on Z. The W-axis provides 600 mm travel, and the B-axis rotates through 360°. With this combination, the large horizontal boring mill can handle boring and milling operations on relatively large workpieces without repeatedly changing their position.

The two versions therefore share the same basic machining envelope while allowing customers to select a spindle configuration according to the machining process.

JMB110AH - Integrated Facing Head Configuration

JMB110AH is the version shown with a 670 mm facing head, 7–165 rpm facing-head speed and 2000 N·m maximum torque. It also provides a 200 mm U-axis travel.

JMB110B - Higher Spindle Speed Configuration

JMB110B uses the same 110 mm spindle diameter but increases the spindle speed range to 10–2000 rpm. Its spindle-end diameter is specified as 221.44 mm, giving the B version a different spindle configuration from the AH model.

Different Guideway Configurations

The parameter table specifies a box guideway for the Y axis on JMB110AH, while JMB110B uses a linear guideway. This is an important configuration difference between the two versions.

Product Advantages

The JMB110 large horizontal boring mill machine gives customers two configurations around the same basic machine size instead of forcing every application into one spindle arrangement.

For jobs requiring a facing head and additional U-axis movement, JMB110AH provides the corresponding configuration. When a higher spindle speed range and a different spindle-end arrangement are more suitable, JMB110B provides that alternative.

Both versions retain the same 1800 × 1600 × 1400 mm X/Y/Z travel, 600 mm W-axis travel and 5-ton worktable capacity, so the selection mainly comes down to the machining configuration rather than a completely different machine size.
