5 Axis CNC Milling and Boring Machine
5 Axis CNC Milling and Boring Machine
Large workpieces often need more than one machining process, and moving them from one machine to another can take time, labor, and extra setup. A 5 axis CNC milling and boring machine brings multiple machining operations together, making it easier to bore, mill, drill, and machine different surfaces of a large component with fewer repositioning steps. With X, Y, Z, W, and B-axis movement, this machine offers a wide machining range while the 360° B-axis rotary table provides flexible workpiece positioning.
The JFB130B, JFB160B, JFB130BZ, and JFB160BZ models cover spindle diameters from 130 to 160 mm. Depending on the model, the worktable can handle up to 30,000 kg, while X-axis travel reaches 20 m. This makes the machine a strong option for heavy machinery parts, energy equipment, large structural components, molds, and other applications where both machining capacity and positioning flexibility are important.
Product Features
5-Axis Machining for Complex Workpieces
The machine uses X, Y, Z, W, and B-axis movement to reach different machining positions on large components. The B-axis provides 360° table rotation, allowing the workpiece to be positioned at different angles without repeated manual setup.
This is especially useful when a component has multiple faces or holes that need to be machined in relation to each other. Less repositioning can also help reduce setup time and keep machining results more consistent.
Large Spindle and Strong Cutting Performance
Two spindle diameter options are available: 130 mm and 160 mm. Both use an ISO 50 spindle taper and offer a speed range of 10–2,000 rpm. Main motor power is 25/30 kW for the 130 mm models and 31/30 kW for the 160 mm models.
Maximum spindle torque reaches 3,000/2,900 Nm on the JFB160B and 2,570/2,490 Nm on the JFB160BZ. With a maximum axial thrust of 20,000 N, the machine has the cutting capacity needed for demanding boring and milling work.
Stable Structure for Heavy-Duty Machining
A floor-type structural layout gives large components a stable working platform. The boring bar cross-section is 400 × 450 mm, with a boring bar length of 500 mm across the listed models.
The main structural and load-bearing components are designed around rigidity, dimensional stability, and long-term industrial use. Material selection and structural treatment can be configured according to the machine design and actual machining requirements, with final material specifications confirmed before production.
Flexible Guideway and CNC Configuration
The JFB series is available with hardened or linear/hardened guideway configurations, depending on the model. This gives customers more flexibility when selecting a machine for different production environments.
For CNC control, the machine can be equipped with SIEMENS 828D or FANUC 0i systems. These are familiar choices for many machine shops and can be configured to suit the operator's programming and production requirements.
Optional Milling Heads and Tool Capacity
Different milling heads can be selected depending on the machining job, including vertical milling heads, universal milling heads, extended milling heads, flat-head milling heads, and other customized options.
The standard tool capacity is 40 tools, with 60, 80, or 100-tool options available for production environments that require a wider range of cutting tools.
