Product Introduction

Product Overview

The Floor Type Milling Machine is developed for machining large-scale metal components that require extensive working space, flexible positioning, and stable cutting performance. Designed for heavy-duty industrial production, the machine provides a practical solution for milling, boring, drilling, and other machining operations on oversized workpieces.

The machine series includes JHC110B×2, JHC130B×2, JHC130×2, JHC160×2, JFB130Z×2, and JFB160Z×2 configurations. Different spindle sizes, spindle power, machining travels, table dimensions, and cutting capacities allow the equipment to be selected according to specific workpiece requirements.

With a floor-type working arrangement, the machine is suitable for components that are too large or heavy for conventional machining centers. The extended X-axis travel can reach 20,000 mm, while the table length can be configured for large workpieces and extended machining areas.

Key Features

01/

Designed for Large Workpieces

The Floor Type Milling Machine is designed around the needs of large-part machining. Its floor-type configuration provides a broad working area, allowing manufacturers to process long, wide, and heavy components without relying on compact table configurations.

The available working table widths range from 1,200 mm to 2,000 mm, while table length configurations range from 3,000 mm to 6,000 mm for the JHC series and can reach 6,000 + n×1,000 mm for the JFBZ series.

The maximum table load is determined according to the selected table size and actual machine configuration.

02/

Multiple Spindle Configurations

Different production requirements call for different spindle capacities. The series provides spindle diameters from 110 mm to 160 mm, with ISO 50 spindle taper and spindle speeds ranging from 10 to 2,000 rpm.

The available spindle motor configurations provide different power and torque levels, allowing customers to select a suitable setup for general machining or more demanding heavy-duty applications.

03/

Extended Machining Travel

Large components often require machining over considerable distances. The machine provides X-axis travel configurations from 3,000–6,000 mm for the JHC series and 6,000–20,000 mm for the JFBZ series.

The Y-axis travel can reach 4,000 mm, while Z-axis and W-axis travel provide additional flexibility for vertical and spindle-direction movement.

This extended machining range makes the machine suitable for large machine bases, structural components, industrial equipment parts, and other oversized workpieces.

04/

Stable Heavy-Duty Machining

The machine uses a steel guideway / hardened guideway configuration to support stable axis movement during machining. The spindle system provides substantial torque and axial thrust according to the selected model, supporting demanding cutting conditions on large components.

The structure is designed to provide stable support for long machining cycles while maintaining the positioning and repeatability requirements specified for the machine.

05/

Flexible Milling Head and Tooling Options

Different machining applications may require different tool orientations and spindle configurations. Optional milling heads include:

  • Vertical milling head
  • Universal milling head
  • Extended milling head
  • Flat head
  • Other optional milling head configurations

A 40-tool magazine is available, with optional capacities of 60, 80, or 100 tools. This allows the machine to accommodate a wider range of machining processes and reduce manual tool changes during complex production.

Machine Selection and Customization

The correct Floor Type Milling Machine should be selected according to the actual workpiece rather than a single specification. Important factors include workpiece length, width, height, weight, material, machining operations, required accuracy, hole dimensions, production volume, and available workshop space.

Customers can provide workpiece drawings or machining requirements for engineering evaluation. Based on the application, the appropriate spindle configuration, machining travel, table size, milling head, CNC system, and tool magazine capacity can be determined.

The machine can also be configured with different optional milling heads and tooling systems to accommodate specific production processes.
